Timberline Lodge Executive Chef Jason Stoller Smith has been cooking in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 30 years. His close ties to the Northwest food culture nurtures his reputation for crafting fare that speaks of the season. At all six Mt Hood restaurants under the Timberline umbrella, Chef Stoller Smith presents hearty fresh fare that is pure Oregon.
CASCADE DINING ROOM
A spirit of craftsmanship paired with a respect for the environment inspires Timberline’s culinary program in each of its Mt Hood restaurants. Timberline is at the center of Oregon’s bounty, which is tended by artisan producers with a common goal. This vision is most prevalent on the Cascade Dining Room menu with locally-inspired dishes that change with the seasons.
RAM’S HEAD BAR
Many Mt Hood restaurants have nice views, but none compare to the stunning vistas that can be enjoyed from the Ram’s Head Bar. Uniquely located on our second floor circular balcony, this is the perfect location for family-friendly casual dining. The bar menu is extensive with historic cocktails and an awe-inspiring collection of spirits.
BLUE OX BAR
Tucked away just behind the main lobby, the Blue Ox Bar is a favorite watering hole steeped in history and tradition. The menu features pub style pizza and handcrafted microbrews from the Mt Hood Brewing Company.
BLACK IRON GRILL
The Black Iron Grill is a favorite hangout for hungry skiers and riders taking a break from the slopes. Located across the parking lot from Timberline Lodge in the Wy’East Day Lodge.
MARKET CAFE
Offering hearty fare and hot toddies, the Market Cafe will warm (and fill) you up for your next run on the slopes. The Market Cafe is located next door to the Black Iron Grill in the Wy’East Day Lodge.
CULINARY EVENTS
Experience a memorable evening of seamless food and wine pairing in historic Silcox Hut at Timberline Lodge. Executive Chef Jason Stoller Smith and visiting Northwest winemakers team up for a six course meal in this very unique setting on the south slope of Mount Hood.

MT HOOD BREWING CO
The Mt Hood Brewing Co was founded upon the notion that, like the best wines, bakery goods, and other perishable products, beer is best produced in small, hand-crafted batches with the highest quality ingredients obtainable and sold for consumption very close to its source.
