Lifts will be open through September 7th for Summer Season!
As the west coast is seeing record-breaking heat, we’re still loving the weather up on the Palmer Snowfield at Timberline. With plenty of snow, our lift operations will be going strong through September 7th, 2009.
It’s been a great summer so far. We’ve seen the US Ski and Snowboard Teams training for the upcoming Winter Olympics, campers from all over the globe at the world famous Windell’s, High Cascade Snowboard Camp, and Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camp (just to name a few!), and we’ve had some great events like the Bonfire Pipe To Pipe.
August is shaping up to be a great month of summer snow, blue skies, and perfect Oregon weather. Come up for some skiing and riding*, enjoy our Farmers Market Brunch, and grab a FREE music concert. Life doesn’t get any better!
* Our public freestyle terrain will be closing as of August 15th.
Starting September 8th, we’ll be taking a three-week break to do annual maintenance on our lifts. During this time period Historic Timberline Lodge will be open for tours, dining and overnight stays. We’ll also continue to run our Magic Mile Skyride weekends in September from 10am to 4pm (except for the weekend of Sept. 12-13 when it will be closed for routine maintenance).
And if the snowpack permits, we’ll be opening back up for our Fall season in the beginning of October.
