Make Timberline Your Home for the Holidays
Historic Timberline Lodge is all decked out for the holidays, and there are few places like Timberline in December. A winter wonderland of snow, festive decorations, scrumptious food, and special events await visitors who are looking to create special holiday memories.
On December 14th registered lodge guests, as well as the general public, are invited to attend the Christmas tree decorating and lighting ceremony in the Lodge’s main lobby at 6 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
In addition to the excellent skiing and snowboarding just outside the door, special multi-course, holiday meals are the focus of attention on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling Jennifer Metter at the Timberline Sales Office (503 272-3267. Seatings are arranged to accommodate families of all ages as well as couples looking for a memorable and intimate meal, and any special needs you might bring to our attention.
On New Year’s Eve, local favorite Bob Voll and the Too Loose Band will be playing classic rock inside the historic lodge for a special New Year’s adult dinner-dance, while out on the slopes folks can ski and snowboard into the New Year. Night skiing hours will be extended to 12:30 a.m., and weather permitting, the New Year will be celebrated with a spectacular midnight fireworks display in the skies above Timberline.
