Housing Opportunities through Timberline Lodge and Ski Area

Government Camp
Government Camp is located at the bottom of the access road to Timberline (about six miles from the Lodge) and offers all the necessary services including; groceries, gas station, post office, restaurants, shops, and etc. Everything in Government Camp is within walking distance.

Inexpensive staff housing is available in Government Camp, however it is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are coming from out of State, plan on arriving mid May in order to lock in your housing. There may be two or more weeks before you begin work.

The Summit Apartments
Federally subsidized, low income housing. You must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify. Full time students will not meet eligibility requirements.

Duplexes and quadplexes; two (or four) private bedrooms and baths with a shared kitchen and living room area. Outside lockable storage is also available. Units come partially furnished and are $400-$450/month. First month’s rent and a security deposit equal to the first month’s rent must be paid in order to move in.

The Summit Inn

Mt. Hood Hostel
