Mountain Snow Brings A Happy Thanksgiving On The Slopes
Recent snow storms on Mt. Hood are providing excellent conditions at Timberline and elsewhere. At Timberline, skiers and snowboarders are enjoying some of the best November conditions in years. “It’s really fantastic out there!” said Jon Tullis., Timberline spokesman. “Our snow base is solid and more fresh snow is in the forecast. We’re real happy to be in full operation for the Thanksgiving holidays. There is plenty to be thankful for!”
While other ski regions in California, New England, and the mid-Atlantic states are still waiting for the white stuff, the Pacific Northwest is enjoying some of the best early season ski conditions in recent memory. So much snow fell early this November that the three major ski areas on Mt. Hood were all able to be open together, earlier than any year since 1994. Mt. Hood Fusion Pass holders are already enjoying privileges at both Timberline and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl.
