Music In The Market :: This Week – Acoustic Minds
Acoustic Minds is the pairing of sisters Jenni and Amanda Price, with Chris Chard of bass. They sing originals and covers with a multitude of influences from Sarah McLachlan to Lauryn Hill. Their sound is soul driven “blood harmonies” with good energy and sweet grooves. Acoustic Minds won the Band of the Year award at the 2009 Portland Music Awards. In their spare time, Jenni and Amanda shred the slopes of Mt. Hood on their snowboards.
