Summer is just around the corner – Get ready for fun at Timberline!

Recent storms have blanketed Timberline with fresh snow. With a foot of fresh falling in the past 72 hours, it still feels like mid-winter up here at Timberline. That being said, spring is here and summer is just around the corner, and with that comes a new round of fun on the south side of Mt. Hood…

Above-Tree-Line Skiing, Riding, & Freestyle Terrain Parks
The Palmer Snowfield is THE place to be in the summer. Wide open turns, amazing views, and plenty of Vitamin D. We’ve recently moved our freestyle terrain operation up the hill onto the Magic Mile chair lift. With a freshly cut half-pipe, and a new park on Otto Lang, there is plenty to ski and ride as you slide into Summer 2010.

Timberline Summer Snow Camps
We’ve re-invented our summer camp program this year — adding a new Family Freestyle Camp, complete with more affordable Day Camp options for kids looking to have fun on our summer snow. Click here to see what the new camp has to offer!

Summer Season Passes – Now On Sale
You can now purchase your summer season pass online. It becomes active as soon as you purchase it — no need to wait until the Winter Season is over on May 31st! Click here for details and to purchase your pass.

Farmer’s Market Brunch
Get ready for the second annual Timberline Farmer’s Market Brunch. Starting in June we will be inviting various food producers from the Pacific Northwest region to feature their culinary delights. No reservations are needed at this tasty and informal brunch series. Stay tuned to our web site for more updates.

Magic Mile Sky Ride
When the sky turns blue, there’s nothing like taking a ride on our Magic Mile Chairlift to the 7,000′ level of Mt. Hood. The spectacular view of Mt. Hood, Palmer snowfield and nearby Mt. Jefferson is on you’ll soon not forget!

USFS Lodge Tours & Interpretive Programs
Starting in June, USFS tour guides will be on site to give free tours of Historic Timberline Lodge. There will be additional interpretive programs going on throughout the summer as well — stay tuned to our web site for more information.
