Timberline Lodge Begins Operation of the Palmer Chairlift This Weekend

With new snow and excellent spring ski conditions, Timberline operators are firing up the Palmer Express Chairlift! The chairlift, famous for providing access to Timberline’s summer ski program, is now ready to whisk skiers an extra 1500 vertical feet up Mount Hood and onto the Palmer Snowfield.

The addition of the Palmer Express chairlift, allows Timberline to offer an impressive 3690 vertical feet of skiing and snowboarding, the most vertical feet of terrain anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.

Timberline now arguably has the most skiable terrain and best spring ski conditions anywhere in the country.
