As they say, “Good things come to those who wait.” So far, it has been an unusually dry and mild winter on Mt. Hood, but cold temperatures and snow have now returned to Timberline in a big way. In the past 72 hours, the ski area received 22 inches of snow and the forecast is for this current winter weather pattern to continue through the weekend. This snow fall has allowed the ski area to open the trails in the Still Creek Basin area and operate the Jeff Flood Chairlift for the first time this winter. Conditions are excellent and skiers and snowboarders couldn’t be happier!
