Timberline Pledges Support for a New Hoodland Community Center
RLK and Company, operators of Timberline, have pledged $7,500 to the Hoodland Woman’s Club in support of the current efforts to build a community center. Jon Tullis, Timberline’s Director of Public Affairs, presented this pledge at the Hoodland Woman’s Club 3rd Annual Crab Feed on January 28th at the Mt. Hood RV Center. In doing so, Tullis encouraged other local businesses and individuals to also throw their financial support behind the project. “Timberline is proud to be a part of the Hoodland Community” said Tullis. “Hoodland and Timberline have been inseparable for the past 75 years, and we are really pleased to mark Timberline’s 75th anniversary with this gift to the community.”
Tullis said RLK and Company was thrilled to learn of the project from a recent Mountain Times cover story, and just felt that the time is right for this project. “A nice modern facility, in the Cascadian style, with activities and County services for residents of all ages, is just what the Hoodland Community needs. Timberline applauds the vision and leadership that the Hoodland Woman’s Club is providing in this effort!”
