Timberline Ready To Open For Season With Limited Lift Operations
Good news everyone!
As long as the weather cooperates, we’re ready to open the ski area with limited operations on Friday, October 12th. The Palmer Chair – recommended for advanced intermediate skill level and above – will be open from 8:30am to 2:30pm this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Our Magic Mile Chair is still undergoing an upgrade that will provide for smoother operations this winter, and will not be ready to run this weekend. Because of this, we plan to operate two shuttle vans that will transport skiers and riders to the bottom of the Palmer Chair starting at 8am. Shuttles will run every hour on the hour until 2pm. The pick up area will be at the lower level of the Wy’East Day Lodge next to the main doors.
All skiers and riders will need to be transported down from Palmer by van. Vans will depart from Palmer every hour on the 1/2 hour.
There will be two freestyle terrain boxes to slide on Palmer, but no other terrain park features constructed.
Tickets will be $58 for all ages. Mt. Hood Fusion Passes and Timberline Passes will be valid.
Early season conditions and unmarked hazards exist. If you come to ski or ride, please use extreme caution.
