Historic Timberline Lodge
Access to the historic lodge is currently reserved for overnight guests only. Restaurant takeout meals and room service is available for hotel guests to enjoy in their rooms since we are unable to allow food and beverage consumption in the common areas. Face masks are required in all public areas for guests and employees. Social distancing protocols are in place and will be enforced. Gatherings continue to be restricted. Daily visitors are not permitted in the lodge at this time. Stay safe and healthy and we appreciate you all working with us and adhering to local guidelines during these times.
Built in 1937, Timberline Lodge has always been a grand refuge for visitors wanting to experience the magnificent and expansive high-alpine environment of Mt. Hood. A night (or a few) enjoyed in the comfort and warmth of the Lodge is like stepping back into simpler times, yet with all modern conveniences discreetly available.

For the ultimate Mt Hood experience, take a snowcat ride up the flanks of Mt. Hood with our Take Me to the Top snowcat package. Toast the exhilarating mountain air with a glass of Timberline wine and marvel at the unparalleled views of the Cascade mountain range. The Take Me to the Top Package includes a one hour snowcat ride for up to 6 people (from a maximum of two households), a bottle of red or white wine, and a fruit and cheese platter that can be enjoyed at the top of your ride. Our heated outdoor pool is available to no more than 12 hotel guests at a time. Please maintain social distancing guidelines and wear a mask when unable to.
Hot tub access is available to hotel guests, one party at a time for a period of 15 minutes each time.
Due to Covid-19 protocols, the sauna remains closed to the public.
Hotel guests may make reservations for the fitness room at the Front Desk.
A wide selection of books and family board games are available at the front desk.
Want to curl up in bed with a good film? DVD players and movies are available for rent at the front desk.
Free wireless internet is available throughout the lodge.
