One of Timberline’s most popular summer activities is the Magic Mile Sky Ride, taking you to 7,000′—no skis or snowboards needed! From the lift, enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Hood, the Palmer Snowfield, and nearby Mt. Jefferson. It’s a memorable ride for all ages and a perfect way to experience the mountain.

Operating Schedule

Opening June 6, 2026

The Magic Mile Sky Ride will open on Saturday, June 6, and will be open through Labor Day, weather permitting, from 9am - 2pm daily. Tickets are available at the Mile Ticket Office, Guest Services in the Day Lodge, or the hotel front desk. Check daily conditions for the current operating schedule, as times may change.

$20 per person / $69 per family of four / Kids 6 and under FREE
