For the past 13 years, Cutter’s Camp has fostered an open dialogue between terrain park managers and park staff from around the world where they can share industry best practices on park safety, risk management, design, construction, machinery, marketing, events, operations, and management.
Timberline is located near the top of an 11,245 foot volcano and is the only ski area in North America that’s open all 12 months of the year, making it the perfect location to host this unique Camp experience. The resort has long been a leader and trendsetter in the world of freestyle terrain, known for having some of the best parks in North America.
This season’s snowfall total at Timberline has already reached 364 inches with a reported average base depth of 141 inches. Thanks to this deep snow, campers will enjoy a large “sandbox” to play in for the on-hill portion of Camp.
Cutter’s Camp is based on the belief that the key to a successful terrain park program is knowledgeable, informed, and well trained staff—regardless of a resort’s budget, equipment, or snow conditions.
