There are two standard package options for Silcox Hut. We can make up the bunks for you with sheets, pillows and blankets or you can provide your own sleeping bags and pillows. The minimum number of people required to book Silcox on Fridays and Saturdays in January and February is 18; a 16 person minimum is required for weeknight holidays such as Martin Luther King Jr Day and Presidents Day. Sunday through Thursday evenings the minimum is reduced to 12. Silcox Hut is also a perfect location for informal weddings of up to 40 people (with capacity for 24 overnight guests).

Silcox guests enjoy the hospitality of a host who is with you for the entire stay. While rustic in a traditional sense, Silcox Hut does offer modern conveniences including running water, heat, light and indoor plumbing. The host maintains communication via radio and telephone and is trained in CPR and other vital first aid functions.

Transportation is provided via SUV, snowcat or on our Magic Mile Chairlift, weather permitting. When the Magic Mile is open, skiers may ski directly to Silcox for the night and then ski out and down to the main runs in the morning. Upon arrival, your luggage is stored at the main lodge in a locker and then transported with the group. Transportation for one round-trip per group per night is included in the package price. Additional trips can be arranged for a fee.

Silcox guests are welcome to use the facilities at the main lodge, including the pool, sauna, spa and showers. Check-in time for Silcox is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 10:00 a.m.

One large room serves as the living area and features a fireplace, hand-carved wooden tables and chairs, and a kitchen/bar area. This room is the centerpiece of Silcox Hut and provides cozy accommodation for conversation, meetings, games and other activities.

The next level of Silcox offers three restrooms, one with a shower. The first floor of Silcox accommodates six rooms. Five of the rooms have two stacked single bunks (for a total of four beds each); the sixth room offers a stacked queen-sized bunk (a total of two beds). The rooms are all adjacent and have three walls with a curtain that serves as the door.

Food is served family-style and is prepared by your host. A typical dinner entree is vegetarian or meat lasagna, green salad, vegetables, rolls and butter, fruit, coffee or tea and dessert. Breakfast includes old-fashioned oatmeal, fruit, juice, muffins and pastries, and coffee or tea. Alternatives are available for an additional fee to the package price.

Corporate daily retreats are also available. Please contact us for information and pricing.
