Get ready to slide, jib and air your way to fun this summer. The official Timberline Freestyle Summer Snow Camp is the best place on Mt. Hood to improve your freestyle skills and get ready for the next season. Our expert coaches will help you land that trick you’ve been thinking about and show you a few new ones as well. For those who are new to freestyle as well as skiers and riders with more advanced skills. Groups are divided based on age and ability.

MASTERS ADULT RACE CAMP

Ski with other Masters and get coaching on the latest techniques in ski racing. Improve individual performance just in time for the Summer Fun National Race with high level coaching. Experience improvements both in the course and while all-mountain skiing. This camp is structured for intermediate to advanced skiers looking to improve race skills. Groups are divided into ability and desired outcome.

A Day in the Life – Timberline Performance Camp - Day Camper Itinerary 

Daily: 7:00 – 7:15am – Check in at the Timberline Ski & Ride School Desk located at the Wy'East Day Lodge. Campers will need to sign in and retrieve tickets daily.
7:30am – Load the Magic Mile Chairlift 
On – Hill Focus:
Day 1: Warm-up drills with slalom focus, slalom training with individual focus.
Day 2: Warm-up drills, slalom training with individual focus, timed slalom runs.
Day 3: Warm-up drills, slalom training with individual focus, timed slalom runs.
Day 4: Warm-up drills, focus on athletic stance, GS training with individual focus.
Day 5: Warm-up drills, GS training with individual focus, timed GS runs.
12:00pm – Campers begin to make their way off-hill.
12:15 – 1:00pm – Lunch at the Wy’East Day Lodge (may purchase in café or eat own lunch in the Camp Training Room. 
1:00pm – Video Analysis in Camp Training Room 
1:30pm – Camper pick up at the Camp Training Room (time is approximate, can vary by 15 minutes or so based on length of video analysis session. 
2:00pm Afternoon Activities:
Day campers may add afternoon activities for an added fee. Afternoon activities including laser tag and hiking begin after 2:00pm each day. On rafting day, we depart from the lodge at 12:30pm to make it to the location (Maupin, OR) on time. Parents may join on the rafting day if they would like, but must also pay the rafting activity fee. Off-site dinner is included in all afternoon activities. Parents may pick up campers from the activity at the Huckleberry Inn located in Government Camp, OR, or Timberline Lodge at the end of the day, usually between 7:30pm and 8:45pm depending on the activity.

A Day in the Life – Timberline Freestyle Camp - Day Camper Itinerary 

Daily: 
8:30 – 8:45am – Check in at the Timberline Ski & Ride School Desk Located at the Wy'East Day Lodge. You will sign in and retrieve your camp/FTC ticket daily. No tickets will be issued in advanced, you must check in each day to retrieve ticket.  If parents want to go up on-hill, they may purchase a lift ticket & FTC ticket at the Ski & Ride School Desk or Guest Services.  
9:00am – Load the Magic Mile Chairlift 
On – Hill Focus:
Day 1: Assess ability levels, organize into groups. Intro to Public Park and FTC (Freestyle Training Center), safety, and the flow of the park.
Day 2 – Day 5: Warm-up on hill, go rock the FTC!!
1:30pm – Campers begin to make their way off-hill
1:45pm – Camper pick up at the Camp Training Room 
2:00pm Afternoon Activities:
Day campers may add afternoon activities for an added fee. Afternoon activities including laser tag and hiking begin after 2:00pm each day. On rafting day, we are off-hill early to depart from the lodge at 12:30 to make it to the location (Maupin, OR) on time. Parents may join on the rafting day if they would like, but must also pay the rafting activity fee. Off-site dinner is included in all activities. Parents may pick up campers from the activity at the Huckleberry Inn located in Government Camp, OR, or Timberline Lodge at the end of the day, usually between 7:30pm and 8:45pm depending on the activity. 

Timberline Freestyle Camp prioritizes the safety of our campers and other Timberline guests. If any of our campers or camper parents are behaving in a way that we feel jeopardizes the safety of themselves, other campers, guests or staff, they may be asked to leave. No refunds will be given.   

We ask that any parents who go on-hill to watch their camper stay clear of coaching activities and follow the rules of the FTC. Coaches may ask parents to leave if they are being disruptive to the group.

Overnight package includes shared housing in one of our chalet dorm rooms. These rooms are close to the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. 
Room upgrades are available in addition to the base camp fee:
Solo chalet (shared bath) - $675
Economy twin (two twin beds and a private bath) - $97
Queen room - $1,475
